Ingredients
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.25 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 16 Oreo cookies (roughly crushed)
- 0.5 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
- Gently fold in the crushed Oreos and white chocolate chips.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-10 minutes, until edges are just set but centers still look slightly underbaked (this ensures soft cookies).
- Let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra cookies and cream flavor, you can add 1/2 teaspoon of cream cheese flavoring. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
