Lemon Garlic Fish with Honey Sriracha Glaze

Lemon Garlic Fish with Honey Sriracha Glaze

This quick lemon garlic fish is perfectly tender and flaky with a sweet and spicy glaze that caramelizes beautifully. The bright citrus notes balance the heat of the sriracha, creating a mouthwatering dish that tastes restaurant-quality but takes just minutes to prepare.

Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 15 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillets (such as tilapia, cod, or sea bass, about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil (divided)
  • 4 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 lemon (half juiced and half sliced)
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey and sriracha sauce together to make the glaze. Set aside.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add fish fillets to the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and flaky.
  5. Remove fish to a plate and cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
  6. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  7. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant (don't let it brown).
  8. Pour in lemon juice and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
  9. Add the honey sriracha glaze and simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  10. Stir in butter until melted and sauce is glossy.
  11. Return fish to the skillet, spoon sauce over fillets, and add lemon slices to the pan.
  12. Heat for another minute, then garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For less heat, reduce the sriracha to 1 tablespoon. This pairs well with steamed rice or roasted vegetables.
